Social help activities

Since it was founded in Canada, New Acropolis has regularly conducted and supported humanitarian assistance, including:

 

- Cultural festival mobilizing the Spanish-speaking community of Montreal.
 
Funds raised were donated to doctors at a Peruvian medical centre fighting the cholera epidemic (1991)
 
 



- With the generous support of Collaboration Santé Internationale, equipment was donated to the only medical centre in an Andean village (Catac - 2001)
 
- There were also ecological activities (tree planting)
 
- Also donation of equipment for a public school (Catac - 2001)

- “Dancing Planet” show. All funds raised were donated directly to the doctors of a humanitarian clinic active in the poorest regions of Guatemala
 
- Also a medical container was sent thanks to the generous support of Collaboration Santé Internationale and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)  , (Toronto - 2003)
 
 
 




- Community service:
 
Support for Montreal’s non-profit organizations (NPOs), which no longer enjoy an exemption from the business tax, which was abolished.
 
Autonomous initiative of the members of New Acropolis Canada aimed at encouraging the City in its intention to resolve the situation penalizing NPOs.
